Tie-in Partners Embrace 'Indiana Jones'

 April 21, 2008 -- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull heads to a May 22 theatrical premiere carried by promotional tie-ins with M&M candies, Kraft’s Lunchables, Burger King, Dr. Pepper and Expedia, according to a USA Today article. Lunchable packages and Diet Dr. Pepper cans carry the image of Harrison Ford in his Indiana Jones character. Burger King introduces an Indy Whopper. The fourth installment of Paramount Pictures’ action/adventure saga will be supported by ads from partners. “Later this month, Dr. Pepper will run Web, print and TV ads that promote its link with the movie,” notes the article by Laura Petrecca.
