'Star Wars Throne' Vid Game Posts Long Trailer
Oct. 8, 2016—Electronic Arts rolls out a six minute “trailer” for its video game Star Wars: The Old Republic – Knights of the Eternal Throne. That trailer running time is more than double the normal 2 minutes or 2:30 running time of movie trailers in cinemas. It's dubbed the "Betrayed" trailer.
The visuals for the Electronic Arts game are very real (see link below); human characters look almost life-like. So this game

is part of the expanding Star Wars-brand universe, keeping the franchise active with consumers between movies and TV shows. Star Wars is, of course, owned by Walt Disney Co.
“Star Wars: The Old Republic is a Free-to-Play, award-winning BioWare Online RPG set thousands of years before the classic Star Wars movies,” says an Electronic Arts press release. “Players team up with friends online to fight in heroic battles between the Republic and Empire, exploring a galaxy of vibrant planets and experiencing visceral Star Wars combat.”
Though free-to-play, it is required that users register and have an internet connection while playing. Players must be at least 13 years old.
