Audi cars milks Disney comics franchise

   April 22, 2019-In a humorous video, car maker Audi draws a character from Captain Marvel, which premiered theatrically March 8, in what it says is “in anticipation” of Avengers: The Endgame that hits theaters on Friday. Both movies are from Walt Disney Co., which owns their source Marvel Comics.

   The video starts in a simple verbal exchange that is a soft-sell on nothing—movies or cars. It ends with Larson as Captain Marvel driving a new electric Audi with visual razzle dazzle. Says trade newspaper Automotive News: “The film will feature the Audi e-tron crossover when Iron Man, played by actor Robert Downey Jr., trades his Audi R8 for the all-electric e-tron GT concept, Audi said.” 
    “The Debriefing” has 3.8 million views on YouTube, so it’s getting good circulation. The German-brand Audi seeks product placements across Hollywood.
